Like everyone else I remember getting these in the early 70’s ($2.00 at Supershoe) out of a big shoe bin. Good rubber flip flops were 25 cents. Anyway enough reminiscing. I am a true size 8, and decided on the size 6. If you want a roomier shoe service go with a 7. I am good with the 6. Reading the reviews were a big help. These were so easy to shape and condition. They were tight going on, positioned to the fit, stood in the shower sprayed with warm water a couple of minutes, and let them dry on my feet. Scuffed the bottoms on cement while
drying. Used coconut oil for conditioning. PERFECT!!

Love these … MOST soak in water first because they are very stiff and tight fitting. After soaking and putting them on right after they soften up and fit you foot better I wear a women’s 8.5 and I ordered the their size 6. They fit perfect!! If you’re hesitant about buy DONT BE!!! You will love them.

These Water Buffalo’s are just like I remember them from the 70’s! I was so happy I found them…I had been looking for a while. They are well made but very stiff as leather always is…I haven’t tried to soften them yet but plan on following the suggested instructions. Make sure to remember the sizes are unisex…I only say that bc I almost forgot and ordered my regular size. They would have been waaay too big. I suggest measuring your foot before ordering. That’s what I did. Very happy with my purchase and highly recommend this company! Shipping was fast and packaging was great. Thanks so much! =)

These were always my favorite! I forgot how much I missed them! Just remember to measure your current sandal and order based on length…I thought I did but I need to return them for a smaller size! I wear a 7 ladies and need a 5 in these. My memory from the 70-80’s is a bit foggy!

I recently bought the tan version of these, and was so pleased with them that I sprung for the brown ones as well.
Yes, they’re stiff when they’re new, but I soaked them last weekend and, like the marketing says, they really do confirm to your feet - in my case rather quickly.

Great quality sandals. I had to soften the leather straps between my toes but it was easily done by soaking the sandals in soapy water. Love them!

This is the "Real Deal", these Classic toe loop sandals.
Authentic "Jesus Boots", that's exactly what we called them back in the day. I had a pair almost identical to these excellent replicas....i wore them almost every day until they literally fell apart. I have been a Proud Hippie since 1966, and these Buffalo sandals are Perfect !

This is my 2nd pair, as the 1st pair ordered were exactly my shoe size, 7's. Way too big, gave them to my daughter who wears an 8, fit her wonderfully. Reordered with a size 6, broke them in as directed, and they are AWESOME! They do fit like gloves, thank you Hippie Shop! When ordering, go a size smaller than what ya normally wear. I knew these were a must to have to achieve a true hippie style, any other ordinary sandal just will not authenticate the look, or feel, i feel like my whole aesthetic comes together perfectly, even if ur clothes might not have the exact lock down of the hippie flair ur going for, u can pull it together easily with just the addition of the sandals.!
