My grandfather has a vintage Guatemalan hand-stitched shirt in this same style from the 1960s. He gave it to me after cleaning out his closet and I loved it. I was looking for more versions of that shirt when I came across the site. I was so happy to see that the shirt is almost identical to my grandfather’s vintage one. I’m probably going to get another one in blue.

It’s beautiful the color is rich and deep in the brown the blk and white embroidery is totally set off, the fabric has a texture and body to it, better than linen. The price was right, oh and I’m a lady, but I purposely shrunk it and will make it my own.

Nice shirt !!! I have been waiting a long time for a good one of these. Super quality ALL cotton. It is just a little tight in the shoulders and has a funny fit for me but I have a funny body lol. basically a 40" neck with like 39 " long arms so its hard to get a shirt to fit, I am interested to see what happens when I break it in. I am very hopeful and it appears as if it will last a long time nice thick material. I love it !! I am thinking about a dashiki to relive my college days but I kept ripping my sleeves on that one so hmmm not quite sure.
