I picked one up as a boulder bag to carry my chalk and shoes from boulder to boulder, however I also have been using it to carry my books from my dorm to classes. It would be nice if the strap was adjustable and when I first got it the bag had a funny smell to it. (a few sprays with fabreze cleared that right up) Also the front flap does not close, I see this as both negative and a postitive. The SYF patch logo on the front is super sick looking! I have to agree that the flap that doesn't zip or velcro could be a problem if your not careful BUT I only had a slight spill once... because i wasn't paying attention. It serves as an awesome purse if you like big purses. It has a seperate compartment on the inside flap that zippers shut that i like to use for make up.
