I wore these sandals in the 60's & 70's and then couldn't find them anymore. When I found HippieShop I was in heaven. It seems to me they used to come with instructions, but not there are none. Stupid me, I soaked them in hot water and all the oils came out of them. Needless to say I ruined them, they were so stiff - unwearable. I learned my lesson - use cold water and wear them til they dry, and looking forward to ordering a new pair for next summer.

I bought my first pair of water buffalo sandals in 1969 and wore them through two years of Denver Colorado weather. Socks in winter help. I've bought two pair from hippieshop.com and have made a convert of my neighbor's daughter.

I've been looking for these sandals for years and I've finally found them! This product from HippieShop is the best. I have a couple of other pairs from assorted sellers but they don't come close to the ones I bought from you guys! They were comfortable from the get-go and I wear them all the time.
